Things are all coming together

Well, it's getting down to the little things.  All of the flooring is done, the electical will be finished tomorrow after I meet with the electrician one last time to make a few corrections.  After that they still have to install the gutters, stain the front door, install the shutters, stain the deck and install the cabinet knobs.  Then it's down the the punch list.

Lots of progress...

There has been lots going on since I last wrote.  Tilework was finished up.  The electrician and plumber have been working at the house and most of that work appears to be done.  The entire yard has sod now and they installed landscaping.  All the door hardware was installed.  The gas logs are in the fireplace.  The dishwasher and the double ovens were installed and the gas cook top is in the kitchen awaiting installation.  The security system looks to be mostly installed too.   Everything is really starting to come together and it really looks great.

The kitchen backsplash is a tumbled travertine marble.

Landscaping was completed yesterday.

Ugh, sorry not focused.  Will get a better one.

Today, the missing granite on the desk in the breakfast nook was installed.

The hardwood flooring has been delivered and is acclimating in the house right now.

Let there be tile...

Today they did the tile.  Kitchen, bath and laundry room floors, backsplash and tile around the fireplace.  It was hard to take pictures because I couldn't walk across the tile floors, but did manage to take some.

Laundry room is pitch black because there are no windows or lights so I was shooting in the dark so the pics are a little wacky.  But you get the idea of what it looks like.
